OK i shall do the job of blogging abt our aquos day out at east coast!
Me, deb, jac, hoi n sheri met a parkway, then made our way to East coast park. Once we got there, someone complained of hunger(i think its hoi..) so we sat down at Macs awhile to eat. So we ate and talked and gave Hoi her long-overdued present (tsubasa figurines in a mooncake box). Just as we were abt to leave to proceed with our plans for the day(biking, skating, kite-flying!), it started RAINING.
We checked out a nearby pool place but cudnt stand the smoke there so we left, and took a taxi back to parkway cos there was nth else to do. cant realli rmb wad we did at parkway.. jus walked ard for a short while.. and i saw this shirt i realli lk at 77th street tt costs $29.90. Someone buy it for me for christmas can?? haha. ok jus kidding lar. After the rain stopped, which was lk 6plus, and a debate on whether to eat dinner first or proceed with plan, we finally decided to go back to East coast.
So, we made our way to east coast(again) and deb n hoi went to rent bikes. Sheri me n jac walked some distance down to realise tt there was no Other skates rental shop, so we walked back to a lousier shop to ask for skates. In the end they dun rent cos floor wet from the rain. brr. ended up renting bikes. So we cycled, then attempted to fly kite! lol. First time for me! It was FUN. I ran like a lunatic across the beach trying to make the kite fly, but the kite sank as soon as i stopped running.
Everyone tried for a few times.. but there was no wind at all. took a few pics in the dark, den rode our bikes again. Me n hoi were riding so slowly the whole time, n jac sheri n deb were soooo far in front we cudnt even see them. They very bad wan dun care us hmph. But anw, me n hoi were talkin n singing old choir songs quite unsuccessfully cos i forgot alot of em. Hahaha. Finally we finished cycling n went for dinner! we walked ard for some time cos No one wanted to make a decision.. until Jac wanted to eat at Zen.
There the waiter lk student lk tt. so noob. He read the menu literally off the board in front of us wen we cud READ it for ourselves thank you. Then tell him Iced teh tarik(in the menu wan) he dun undestand, gimme hot one.. den mus ask him change. Nxt time mus say ICED MILK TEA. Then all of us ordered Tempura fish. Later he(or another waiter) serve food then spill the fries on Hoi. Dunno whether he apologised, but at least shud get more fries right? Cos the fries so little onli can! There the food serving is super small. i was... stunned? I thot it was gonna be BIG.. lk long john's kind at least? So i only ordered one to share with deb! but it was.. twice SMALLER then long john serving. They only had a handful of fries(less than mac regular fries) and one fish the size of long john's CHICKEN and some veggies with mayo. Well i guess its quality over quantity? The food was quite tasty, tho little!
Then after eating we made our way home. We passed by subway n got cookies! Sheri n jac parted ways with Me hoi n deb liao. Yup. The 3 of us wait for bus 15 for so long! its so superr slow. We made our way back at 9, then me n deb onli reached home n 10.15! yup. It was long, rainy, not windy n tiring.. but veryvery enjoyable =)) n i had muscle ache after cycling!! man im unfit. LOL. lets go skating!!! =))
